Visit to Mark Gray's Gallery

The Club held its first outing last Thursday at the Gallery of local photographer, Mark Gray. Mark has received a number of Australian and international awards for his breathtaking photographs, several of which are displayed in his Gallery in Market Street.

Mark talked to members about how he came to take up photography eight years ago, the equipment he uses to take those amazing shots, and the sometimes extreme efforts he's had to go to to be in the right place at the right time. He stressed that considerable planning goes into taking each shot and that enormous patience is often required waiting for the right light and weather conditions.

The next meeting of the Club will be held at 7:30 pm on Sunday, 11 December in the downstairs room at the Tura Beach Country Club. New members are most welcome to come along.
